The university maintains a health center under the supervision of the student life office. Purposes of the health service are threefold: 1) to provide a variety of health services, 2) to promote good health on campus and 3) to develop a program of health education.
Located in the lower level of Old Ropp Hall, the health center is staffed by a registered nurse from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., five days a week during the school year. The nurse is available to treat minor illnesses, provide health education and counseling and arrange referrals to local physicians when necessary.
A physician will be present to see students in the health center two hours a week.
