One week each semester is set aside for a special time of focusing on the Christian life. Students play a major role in planning activities that help strengthen growth and faithfulness in our relationship with God. The week includes guest speakers and special times of worship.

Speaker: Isaac Villegas 

Isaac VillegasIsaac S. Villegas is the pastor of Chapel Hill Mennonite Fellowship in North Carolina. He was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, then joined the pentecostal/charismatic movement, and ended up in a Mennonite congregation a decade ago while attending seminary at Duke University. He is a member of the governing board of the North Carolina Council of Churches, and has served on the Executive Board of Mennonite Church USA. He writes for various publications, including Faith & Leadership Magazine, The Christian Century, The Mennonite World Review, and The Mennonite. He is also the co-author of Presence: Giving and Receiving God (Cascade, 2011).
